Has anyone flown china airlines to taipei recently?

I am due to travel on the 22nd of June via CI752 to taipei and it's quite freaky to note the number of fatal accidents china airlines had in the recent years.

Hope to hear some inputs.

"I'll never fly China Airlines". How many times did I hear that, after the catastrophic China Airlines crash into Taiwan Strait a few years back? The aircraft that went down was going to be sold to Thai Airlines the next week. Had the structural failure taken place a week later, how many people would have been saying, "I'll never fly Thai Airlines"?

China Airlines is safe and reliable. My wife and I fly China Airlines, all the time, by preference, because of their superior service and reliability.

Air travel is generally safe. The odd of having an accident is like getting hit by lightning. Assuming China Airline is 100 time more dangerous than other airlines, the odd of problem is still lower than those of other activities such as driving on the highway.

Yes, I agree that many people don't fly this airline because of its record.

I flew China Airlines from Tokyo to Taipei a few years ago unaware (at that time) that this airline has one of the worst safety records in the world. The flight was uneventful, as the odds still favored this. However, I will use Eva Air next time, a very efficient airline, just to be on the safe side!

ive flown china air but i feel more comfortable on EVA. Even so, the chances of something bad happeneing or slim. :)
