Is there a way to hide comments but keep 3 or so most recent?

I want to hide all my comments except for the three most recent ones.
I've seen this on someone's MySpace before but I lost the link and never thought about it until a couple days ago, any help is appreciated.

This code didn't work, I did a lot of researching and figured out the code on my own. The code that successfully worked was

you just have to change the number in the code so if it says like 250 and you want 3 comments showing them change it to like 350 that should work
