What is the *easiest* community college to go to in San Diego?

I'm moving to San Diego in May, and will have enough units to transfer to UCSB by Fall of '09, so I'm not looking for the best community college per say, but the one in the SD area with generally the easiest classes because I'll be taking a huge amount of units for the next 3 semesters and wanted to go to absolute easiest route.

I know some community colleges are considered *better*, but I need *easier*. I've been going to Cuesta College in the Central Coast, and it's supposedly one of the best community colleges in California, but I need *easy* because of the huge workload I'll be taking on so I can transfer quickly.

Thanks!

Try San Diego City College, and Southwestern. Mesa has hard teachers. Always try www.ratmyprofessor.com

There are some good community colleges in San Diego. How easy a particular class is depends mainly on the teacher. Whatever college you go to, ask around and try to select teachers that are not difficult. There is a website called "Rate My Professor" where you might be able to look up specific professors. Here's the link: http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/SelectSc…

    Good luck!

Easy really does depend on the teacher. I am a fan of the Grossmont and Cuyamaca Community Colleges. They also have tons of online classes which can make it easier in some respects. They are located in the East County of San Diego.

Did you sign a TAG? How about UCSD?

These are my personal opinions but it seems that Palomar College is one of the "harder" colleges in San Dieog. I believe they have one of the highest transfer rates.

As for the "easiest", I would go for any colleges that get the older crowd with a full-time job since most of the instructors work full-time also. So I would consider Miramar and City College. If you take the evening classes, they are usually easier just because everyone is tired and most people have other responsibiliites such as a family and kids.

But really, the level largely depends on the instructor, not the school. So I would check the instructor rating before I sign up. If the school lets you see how many have signed up for the class, the instructor with more students is usually easier (or better).

I'd say Palomar College. I've only attended the San Marcos campus. It's very easy. Over the 3 semesters I attended, I only bought one book, and never even needed it. Maybe I just got lucky, but I've always had good teachers who were very easy going, and I never had a need to even buy the books because the teachers always had powerpoint presentations. I've gotten all A's and B's in my classes, except for a C that I got in speech because of my fear of public speaking. Good luck!!!
