The Race is Back! Catch The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 every Thursday at 9pm, exclusively on AXN.

There are lots of moves that me and my teammate would make to try and win The Amazing Race Asia, but to summarise in one sentence my strategy would be :

PLAY ON THE SAFE SIDE UNTIL IT BOILS DOWN TO THE FINAL THREE.

Following this strategy would mean we'd be making less enemies (being non-aggressive) & less will be the chances of other teams targeting us (for Yield or U-turn) & we being eliminated prematurely. We'd also be saving power, stamina and luck for the final leg. Then, from the leg before the final (so that we can have a good lead & flight in the final leg) we'd dig deep into the game and Race for the victory.

We' first I'd have to become an American Citizen in order to be allowed to compete.

Other than that

I'd go in with a partner that I get a long really well with, and whose strengths and weaknesses compliment my own. Plus I'd learn a few foreign phrases that may help me along the way.

A good guide or knowledge of an area is a good sign of victory, and make sure that partners will fight to the end together...no matter how u win or loose in the end, it's all down to experience.

i think the teammates must really be patient with each other...they must not quarrel as this will lose so much time... also, they must really know how to read the map or else they will get lost. In addition, they must know each other very well.

1. Learn how to drive stick shift.
2. Figure out each others' general strengths and weaknesses. This person is good at reading maps, this person is good at solving puzzles, etc.
3. Go through past seasons' episodes (of any country's Amazing Race) and figure out the skills that come up frequently. Figure out ahead of time who is best to do those.
4. Figure out a way to relieve stress. If I were on the Amazing Race, I would have a deal with my partner where every time I was performing a task and the other person was getting frustrated, I could call out the name of a song and that person would have to stop complaining and start singing that song at the top of his or her lungs.

First, you have to be an experienced traveler to have a shot at the Amazing Race. It will definitely help. Second, join with a partner whom you get along very well with. Someone you've never fought in your life. Third, prepare for the race physically and mentally. Prepare not to be emotional on the race and get ready to go around the world for a long time. Work out, go to the gym, and prepare physically. Stamina will be needed during the race. Fourth, run the race having no enemies. Befriend everyone! Don't be too mean. And last, focus on the race to win! Do every challenge as if your life is on the line! But don't sweat out the little stuff!...Definitely, if you've got all those five things, you can be an Amazing Race Asia winner!

2) You must have a gigantic amount of patience and some good luck.
3) You should also help out other teams. As a result, if you get into any trouble, they will be more likely to help you. After you get into the final 3, use all the skills the teams have taught you to get the maximum advantage.
4) Know some common phrases in other languages. By using them, you can ask for help from the locals.
5) Find a way to deal with stress.

Well, seeing how this is the Asian version of The Amazing Race, there are some things that differ from the original version.
But for me, my racing strategy would be:

1) Pick a teammate of whom I know really well (physical and mental capabilities)
2) To prepare everything ahead of time (maps, possible airline carrier options, etc.)
3) Rest up and relax (don't be too relaxed!)
4) Be optimistic and encouraging
5) Befriend my fellow competitors and try not to become a target (ie. yields and elimination)
6) Use certain things to our advantage
And...........most importantly,
7)Remember that whatever happens, my partner and I did the best we could

Its hard to say - the winner may not be the strongest team like we have seen in Amazing Race 1 but the ones that are able to find a very co-operative partner who understands each other, never give up spirit and loads of luck.
