Is it good for young kids to migrate to Melbourne and study there?

I have two young kids of three and five. How much is the childcare costs over in australia? Where to find good primary school in Melbourne? Is it easy to find the milk formula "Gain IQ" over there?

Childcare costs vary between the centre. They are from around $A15 a day to up to $A50 per day. There is Commonwealth government subsidy, but I am unsure of what it is as it is some years since I had to use them.

There are a number of good primary schools in every suburb, but I would probably suggest the inner Eastern suburbs of Toorak (a wealthy suburb), Caulfield, Kew, Malvern, Prahran, Doncaster. The State primary schools in these areas are excellent, as are the private schools (Catholic, Jewish and Church of England, Presbyterian and Protestant). Similarly with High schools and there are several excellent universities.

As for the milk formula, I do not know. There are a number of good child milk formulas available in chemists and supermarkets.

As Walter said, childcare cost vary. There are also different childcare options. I'd worry more about quality than cost, because there's some really crappy centres. There are plenty of good primary schools in Melbourne, but what you call good may not be what I call good. There's thousands of schools, and no one will be able to five opinions on all. You need to pick an area and ask specifically about that. I've never heard of "Gain IQ" formula, but I breastfeed so I've never looked. I expect the "magic" ingredient is just fish oil, and you can buy that over the counter at any chemist, or even in supermarkets.
