What is the best/cheapest way/method to send money from Singapore to Thailand?

I wish to know a good way to transfer money from Singapore to Thailand using the cheapest method available in Singapore. Thanks.

You can go down to golden mile complex and there are many money remittance shops available there. They offer good exchange rate and charge about S$12 per transaction. You do need a the name of the recipient, her address (in thailand) and telephone number, the bank account and the bank name and branch.

You can try out Western Union. It offer good exchange rate than you convert at the online currency conversion. It is at any post office near you & you only need to write the recipient name(same as his/her ID card) & his/her country will do. It only need 15mins to transfer the money to Thailand & he/she can collect it at their post office.

Western Union charge only the transfer fee which added up equal/slightly equal to the amount you convert at the online currency conversion.

For transferring S$400 & below, the fee is S$12.00
For S$500, the fee is S$15.00.

Direct transfer from bank to bangkok bank will be the most safe, effeciant and best exchange rate.
