Re: coastat eddie, how does this affect me?

I live inland, 20-28 miles from the ocean in a valley. When weather channel talks about coastal eddie, does that mean hotter colder, drier, or what kind of conditions?

Any coastal eddy will be a potential source of lift in the atmosphere. Could also increase on shore wind (increasing the chances of nighttime low clouds or sea fog in some cases) also increases the chance for showers and thunderstorms as it acts as a triggering mechanism.

To put it simply, it will increase the chances for clouds and rain. Won't guarantee it but improve the chances.
