Infants with GERD? and using reglan?

my son was put on the generic version of reglan and i gave hime two doses, i noticed a complete 180 in personality, he normally is happy, content, loves to play and then with one dose and worsened with the second to a baby that cries ALL the time. have any parents had experience with this and could help me to help my child
he is 3 1/2,
i cut down feedings to 2 oz every two hours, which did help, but he is constantly hungary this is a boy that could eat 6 oz every 2 hours if i let him,
he throws all of it back up, it's not just a little bit, i can actually cup it in my hands and it will overflow

Personally I would consider also taking him to a children hospital and have their gastro intestinal specialist take a look at him. My son would do the same thing with his formula projectile everywhere with every feeding no matter how I tried to limit and burp him. His pediatrician told me give him the meds and take him home. When I took him in to the hospital they took one look at him and went over his symptoms and told me change his formula to neutramagin.... Cured the vomiting in 2 days. Mind you every child is different and alot of them it is just reflux but it could also be an allergic reaction to something in the formula/breastmilk espesially if you have a family history of food allergies. Good luck and I hope it clears up soon!

reflux drugs can take a few weeks to start fully working, its way too early to make a judgement just yet.. my son was on a few different ones until we found what helped, but to be honest, he never was that perfect happy baby i'm sure you are longing to have.. it just was bareable - better. well until they grow up and outgrow it anyway!
