Spock of Star Trek eyebrows?

My husband and I are watching Star Trek and we were wondering how they got his eyebrows to look that way. I say they shaved them and then colored them in, my husband says that they covered them up with skin putty and then colored in eyebrows.

I read in Leonard Nimoy's book, "I am Spock", that they shaved off his eyebrows to a certain point and then attatched yack's hair or something to make them go upward. The book had pics and everything. So you're almost completely right. But I don't think they colored them (like with an eyebrow pencil). Maybe they dyed the added hair to make it match his more, or not. The book didn't say. But it's a great book for a Trekkie to read.
