5 days of 10mg provera pill for period.....and ovulation?

Question

So will this pill make me ovulate or just bleed?? if i am having sex after i take it could i get pregnant?? TryingToConcieve and unsure about this medication!!

I usually have a quite normal period 27-30days. But my last period was April 14 (no not pregnant :( ). So they checked my hormone levels and there was very low progesterone which means i didn't ovulate. I am on day 5 of 10day/10mg provera which should start my periods and ovulation. But, if i doesn't start ovulation they will be putting me on clomid. Good luck.

I am on day 3 of a 10 day prescription. It should make you have your period but WILL NOT make you ovulate. In my case, they are trying to "restart" my ovaries since it's been 3 months since a period. Hopefully restarting will make me ovulate naturally.
