Trying to copy music and video into a ipod from my friends computer but he does not have i tunes nor does he?
want it installed. he does't have a ipod so he doesn't want itunes is their any thing else i can do?

It's an easy down load and by the time you wrote this question you could have gone to iTunes.com and downloaded the free program.

this site will give you an ipod just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want an ipod (like me).

unfortunately, no, there is nothing else you can do. the wonderful manufacturers at apple decided it would be best to make the i-pod compatible "ONLY" with i-tunes. unlike the zune and other popular mp3 players where you can sync with music from different media players, even off of the "my music" folder, i tunes must be installed in order to get songs on an i-pod.
sad but true.

it is a quick download tho, and if your friend doesn't let you download it and delete it as soon as you are done, thats quite strange. it won't hurt him and its free.
