If you mean a polo mint, the answer is 2, one each side.

The answer is always 4.
First, in a polo shirt, there are 4 holes (2 arms, top and bottom)
Second, in the game Polo, there are 4 player positions, called "holes" when strategizing. (i.e. lanes in basketball).
Third & most intersting... the Rowntree / Nestle company developed the "Polo Hole" whose .8cm whole was exactly 1/4 the size of the original Polo mint. 4 "Holes" = 1 Polo mint.
N.B. There were no holes in Marco Polo when he died in 1324.

4. im playing the impossible quiz as we speak; and they give the answer of 4 (the first question is how many holes are in a polo). however, how it makes sense though that question 100 is how many holes in 2 polos, and the answer is 2??
