I'm 21 weeks pregnant and having abdominal discomfort when walking?
I'm 21 weeks pregnant and having abdominal discomfort sometimes when walking. I am starting to feel like I need to slow down a little, like I can't walk as fast as I would like because sometimes I get round ligament pain. But yesterday I was walking around in a store and I had to sit down because the discomfort was at an all time high and I felt really bloated like and as if my insides were super stretching... it's worried me a little because although it felt like round ligament pain, It was spread across over my pubic area and I felt pressure as if the baby was pushing down a litlle. It subsided after about 5 minutes, but this is my first pregnancy and I was taken aback. Has anyone had this before? I am going to talk to the doctor about it but I am curious about what others have experienced. Thanks!

If you are at 21 weeks, you are probably fine. This sounds like normal uterus growth and movement. There may be some pain and discomfort associated with that..... You should definitely make sure that the pain is never sharp enough to take your breath away, if it is, call your Dr.
Also, your intestines, and stomach are starting to move out of the way for your growing baby.
Good luck, hope everything works out OK!

I'm having a boy and he is really low... so the same thing happens to me, when he moves i feel it and if i'm up and walking it is that much worse... sometimes when im up and it does it, i just hold my lower stomache tight and it goes away after a little bit... nothing to worry about though, just the baby...
