Who is better,cristiano ronaldo or lionel messi?

both are young and talented players,but in your opinion who is better between them?i would definitely say lionel messi!!! look at my nickname!!

Well.. let me start out by saying, both are HOT!
I love Lionel Messi more, he is NOT a diver, he is fast with good ball control. He is so young and has a far way to go. And, baby! He'll go far! I mean, he's awesome!!
Crisitano Ronaldo whines too much. He cries too much. And the fact that he winked at his team (on the bench) after he sent Rooney off with a red card makes me MAD! Plus, he is dating this 4o-year-old wannabe-model named Merche. Eww.
Lionel could get someone better than Cristiano's girlfriend with his eyes closed. =)
Lionel is talented, I wish I could go see him play with his football club when they come to the USA. =(

Yeah, Lionel will DEFINITELY lead Argentina to victory in 2010. Vamos!

I would say Messi is the better player- I think Ronaldo is good and he certainly stands out in his club games and for his national side but not only does Messi stand out at Barca which is hard enough when he plays with Argentina he is playing with some of the best players in the world and for a player to look like he belongs there, never mind for him to look like there is something special about him, which he does takes a lot of skill and a certain way of playing- he looks like's he's enjoying himself and his control looks effortless. Ronaldo is good, but Messi is better.

Ps "diver crybaby????" If you are referring to the Del Horno incident I think you will find that Messi genuinely was injured and not play-acting- and the injury he sustained kept him out of the Champion's League final and meant he was only just fit for the World Cup.

I'm with you. Lionel Messi has the larger picture of the game in his mind and he controls the whole situation. Ronaldo showed something of this ability in Portugal's final game against France. He was superb! But more often than not, Ronaldo's exhuberance is pointless.
